Also reported in the Daily Mail is that Roberto Mancini is being lined up to be the next manager of Notts County, yes League Two Notts County, I wonder if he thinks they're Juventus? Ian 'Charlie' McParland's job is under-threat, and is also under-review after only 10 games. I Don't think this story will materialise.
The Guardian: UEFA are investigating a match-fixing scandle right across Europe involving no less than 40 clubs, the main focus is on Eastern European teams. No major European clubs are thought to be involved.
The Draw for the Carling Cup Fourth Round has been made, the big tie has to be Arsenal vs Liverpool. You can check out the rest of the draw on the BBC website, along with Carlo Ancelotti's retirment plans.
Chelsea are also making the news today after they've received the details to their transfer ban. They will now have 21 days to make an appeal. The Telegraph.
