Brits Abroad: Fowlerwatch - Part 2

Saturday, 12 September 2009

The penalty area prowler Robbie Fowler is rolling back the years in Australia as he takes the A-League by storm. The ex-Liverpool striker has now made it 4 goals in 6 games after his fantastic goal this weekend, leading North Queensland Fury to their first win of the season.

Fowler seems to be doing what Beckham did for the MLS, and raising the profile of the A-League in Australia. Fans have even been turning up to games wearing Liverpool jersey's in honour of Fowler.I'm sure this isn't the last we've heard for him this season.
